Gen NeXt Endorses John Campbell -- Despite His Lack Of Spiky Hair
Yeah, I know -- this news is a couple of days old and CA-48 has already reported on it. But I just came upon the news release that my Hotmail account ruthlessly exiled to the rarely-checked junk mail folder, and since I asked the Campbell campaign to add me to their e-mail list, I feel I should post it anyway (this decison is unrelated to my personal support for John Campbell and despite my wariness of Gen NeXt).

CAMPBELL ENDORSED BY GEN-NEXT
Leading Organization of Young Entrepreneurs Rallies Behind Frontrunner
(Orange County, CA) – Generation-NeXt, Orange County’s leading organization of young business and community leaders, has officially endorsed John Campbell for Congress. The endorsement came after the organization met with the leading candidates to discuss a wide array of issues that focus on long term solutions for the next generation.
Gen-NeXt Chairman and Founder Paul Makarechian said, “John really impressed us with his comprehensive and pragmatic yet innovative approaches to a wide array of issues from social security, taxes, business, education, energy, and national security. It was obvious that he’s looking out for the next generation of Americans.”
Generation NeXt was formed to give young leaders a voice in the political process and promote solutions to problems its members are concerned about, as well as financially support fiscally conservative candidates. Generation NeXt members are young business leaders, and annual dues of $10,000 are required for membership. The organization uses dues money to support candidates and causes that fulfill their mission across the United States.
Sinan Kanatsiz, co-founder and board member of Gen-NeXt said, “John is exactly the kind of forward thinking and fiscally conservative candidate that we had in mind when we founded this organization.”
Generation NeXt is one of the first California-based economic groups to endorse in the special election for the 48th congressional district. They join Washington, DC-based Club for Growth, the Lincoln Club of Orange County, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, House Sub-Committee on International Terrorism Chairman Ed Royce and over 100 elected officials in supporting Campbell for Congress.
“I am pleased to have the support of such a dynamic group of young entrepreneurs. These young professionals and their generation are part of the engine driving our economy and America’s future. For that reason, I will form an advisory committee of young leaders to help me focus on priorities of the next generation. I look forward to working with them and others to continue to bring promise to our collective futures,” Campbell said.
The 48th Congressional District is wholly contained within Orange County. Senator Campbell has represented approximately 90% of the Congressional District, and he has raised over $500,000 with over just over six weeks until Election Day. Apparently, Gen NeXt didn't require Sen. Campbell to spike his hair as a condition of being endorsed, an indication the group is leaving political puberty.
Unfortunately for him, John Campbell is doing his campaign and reputation a disfavor by sending out a release touting New Majority Junior's decision to offer him a bid to pledge the Billionaire Boys Club.
Courting the liberals and moderates will cost Campbell more conservative votes than it will win him on the other side.

I wish I was a trust fund baby. It must be nice to have more money than sense. I guess I was cursed with an middle class upbringing in Irvine.

Yeah, but did you notice that Gen NeXt demands $10 K a year in dues? Damn.

Last time I checked, conservatives and Republicans were opposed to class warfare...

Jeff
Theses are not Republicans posting on here, they are all members of the Gilchrist Cult.
Gilchristians drink from the glass of Kool-Aid that pronounce those that are successful in our society should be punished and taxed more. To a Gilchristian the triumphant, the achievers, the job creators need to be driven out and shunned. Class envy is a way of life for a Gilchristian. A follower of Gilchrist is just as likely to patrol the borders of Newport Beach as they are to patrol the Rio Grande

Unless you are a Lacyan, a sellout to the public employees' unions.

I think John has a skill. Perhaps he should make a really big pinata that looks like an opponent. He is really nice like Napoleon.
