Allan
What a great choice for Gilchrist. The listenership of Sound Off Connecticut in south orange County is throuh the roof.
It is when Gilchrist does things like being on a radio show 3000 miles away that none of us start to think that he is in anyway a serious candidate for the 48th. Mr. Gilchrist is a self appointed ego trip enjoying his 15 mins of fame, not a serious candidatew for Congress or any other public office.

What is Jim thinking? Connecticut is not even an early presidential primary state.
He should be on in New Hampshire.

This further illustrates a key point, I think. National exposure on one issue is just fine...if you stick to being a one trick pony. The 48th needs a congressman...on all issues...not just immigration. John fills that bill.

Is everyone sure he wasn't already committed to these appearances prior to his announcement?
