From Martin W.:
"Kelley's boss had been Interim Deputy CEO Dave Rudat, who is Carol's husband."
Wow, this doesn't look good at all. The wife of the guy in charge of the ROV submits a phoney registration and since it's the "honor system" and nobody has filed a complaint against his bosses wife everything is kosher. Hmmm.

The OC Republican Central Committe should rethink its automatic endorsement policy of encumbents and here's a perfect example of why, James Gomez, city councilman in La Habra.
Gomez' backed a 'dumb as a box of rocks' Liberal Democrat against Chris Norby in the latest election for the 4th district seat. To be even clearer, Gomez backed the Liberal Democrat that Loretta Sanchez also supported, and whom Sanchez is grooming for later runs for office.
Gomez was in favor of and supported the failed measure 'G' in La Habra, an attempt to continue an onerous utility tax that was the favorite source of funds to misuse by the city council (promised funds never made it to police or fire depts). On this issue alone encumbent La Habra Mayor Steve Simmonian, measure 'G' supporter (who missed the filing deadline for automatic endorsement)was sent packing without endorsement by the central endorsement commitee after the committee questioned and proved him a liar when they discovered his record online!
And of course there is the current F.B.I. investigation into Gomez' Politcal Corruption in a 'pay to play' scandal in La Habra. This led Gomez, in a televised council meeting, to instruct the city attorney to make a declaration of his 'innocence'(which the city attorney obliged), and thereby committed an open misuse of public resources for his own personal benefit.
OK lets see, he backs liberal dems, he's under investigation for political corruption, supports increasing taxes to balance budgets, and openly misuses public funds for personal benefit.
Throw in some sexual harrasment charges and that appears to be almost enough for an endorsement alright, from the Democratic Party!
