Tan's supporters look like a bunch of people getting an early start on halloween. why were those hookers there? they are hookers right? they sure look like hookers! Tan, you think you're gonna win with those 60 people? Good luck pal!

Maybe they should re-name it Freek Republic.
By rallying to a phony like Tan, these guys are giving conservatives a bad name.

Who would ever have believed that we would have side by side, members of the Nazi party, members from the Vietnamese community, and members from the Asian massage parlor business association coming out for a candidate in central Orange County.
Did everybody see those scandingly clad massage workers attending Tan Nguyen Event?

There you have it: the REAL Republican grassroots.

Tan,
You can probably expect to see all your shenanigans come up during your sentencing.

GOP is at risk of losing control of the House of Representatives by as little as 1 vote, yet "republicans" in Orange County - or at least some who post here, a Republican site apparently - seem to be rooting for a Republican House candidate (Tan Nguyen) to lose. I'm from LA, so maybe that's why I don't understand.
So Tan is not a tried and true conservative. And apparently (like Reagan) he used to be a Democrat. Maybe he even switched as an opportunist. Excuse me, but: So what? He's the legitimate GOP candidate and, unlike Sanchez, he would not vote for Pelosi to be speaker of the House. We can be sure of one thing: party-switcher Sanchez is a tried-and-true liberal.
A couple of other thoughts. The photos of today's rally show a group of pretty average looking middle clase folks, from my perspective. More Asians than you might see in some GOP rallies, but is that bad?
Oh yes, I hope that the posters making cheap shots about asian "massage" ladies or "hookers" are Democrats, because that's racist talk. If similar stereotypes were posted about, say, blacks or jews, I bet the proprietor of this web site would take them down. I hope he takes these below-belt comments down, too.
Best wishes everybody - sincerely, truthhandler in LA. And "Go Tan Go!"

Truthhandler,
Can somebody be an opportinist candidate and a legitimate candidate? Because that's what you said,
"Maybe he even switched as an opportunist."
"He's the legitimate GOP candidate and, unlike Sanchez, he would not vote for Pelosi to be speaker of the House."
How can you be so sure that he will not change back to the Democratic party next year and support Pelosi? He's an opportunist!(Of course, he will not do this as a elected Congressman)
Then,
"The photos of today's rally show a group of pretty average looking middle clase folks."
Yeah, I always see guys with patches over one eye, one guy riding a bike that's a walking billboard, a guy that looks like that India transcedental leader, at the Republican rallies. Then again, I've never been to a Republican rally in Los Angeles.
"Oh yes, I hope that the posters making cheap shots about asian "massage" ladies or "hookers" are Democrats, because that's racist talk."
Stereotypes, buddy! Open up on any given day the sports section an you'll find that 95% of the massage parlors(fronts for prostitution) are listed as Asian managed.
I'm just doing what your friend Tan say's he does..."tell it like it is".

HYPROCRITES.
You've been bitching and moaning about the letter and Nguyen's campaign being racist. Well, look at who's coming out of the woodwork. You're all showing your true color now. In a racism contest, you'd win hand down.
Those of you still hoping that there will be arrests need a reality check. There won't be any arrest. The whole case is going down the toilet. No law was broken. NONE.
The only lawsuit I see coming is the one against Bill Lockyer for malicious prosecution and interfeering with Nguyen's campaign. You can bet on it.
Posted by: Pendejosillegals | October 29, 2006 at 01:20 AM
Of course there were laws broken and if you'd open your eyes long enough to see the evidence you wouldn't be repeating the same crap that Tan Nguyen is repeating to himself. Let's just for argument's sake forget about the distribution of the "letter" . Tan is still what he is- an ill-informed, opportunist who is not a very intelligent or articulate speaker who comes accross as a rogue and a bully. He has no real platform except the bandwagon that is the trendy issue of illegal immigration. I am a Republican and Tan does not deserve my support. Better to have no candidate than one that is an ASS trying to be a mighty elephant.

Well, can Tan produce Sergio R, the author of the letter? Can Tan back up the claim of a government computer system to track illegal votes. Its the second half of the letter where the voter intimidation comes from.
Posted by: DanC | October 29, 2006 at 09:14 AM
Did anyone see Barbara Coe in those pictures? Maybe she can produce Sergio...
Posted by: | October 29, 2006 at 09:31 AM
A poster asks me: "Can somebody be an opportinist candidate and a legitimate candidate?" The answer is, obviously, yes. In any partisan election race, the "legitimate" GOP candidate is the candidate who won the GOP nomination. In this particular race, that candidate's name is Tan Nguyen. Is Tan an "opportunist"? I don't know. Frankly, living out of Orange County I don't have enough knowledge to say. But I do know that he's the legitimate Republican candidate, as defined by the election code. Anyway, if we tossed out of Congress all of the members who, to one degree or another, could be called opportunists, we'd have a lot of empty chairs to fill - Republican as well as Democrats. Politics is a profession that attracts principled people and opportunists - and a lot of people who are mixtures of both.

Damn, the wingers are self-destructing before my eyes :)
Someone pass the popcorn...

What's more notable is that the freepers look like they've never seen Asian women before. I guess they've never driven through Westmi9nster or Garden Grove before in their life. Yeah, that chick looked like she was going to a Halloween party afterward, but that was the only oddly dressed woman out there.

Regarding the close-minded "liberal" comments from above, I believe the person in question is described here:
a club singer in black fishnet stockings repeatedly lip-synced to her recording of the campaign's new country-Western theme song, "Stand by Our Tan."

LOSERS! Have fun whining! Tan will win! His contributions went through the roof! Lmao. And he broke no laws! LOL! Keep crying, no ones listening! :D
Posted by: No Illegals | October 29, 2006 at 08:00 PM
No illegals
"His contributions went through the roof!"
Cool, let them waste their money.
Here's an idea. Why don't they duplicate the "flawed", "ill-conceived", now "legal" mailer and send it out?
Yeah, "tell it like it is" if you believe it's perfectly legal. What are you scared of...the Aryan brotherhood will protect you guys in prison. But, you need plenty of vasoline.

Too bad last poster! Loretta Sanchez tried to set Tan up! She is the one who will go to jail for purposefully giving the wrong translation for one word and misusing her power. Loretta Sanchez is a corrupt power-monger wanna-be dictator! Probably takes money from the drug cartels in Mexico! See who you are standing up for! It's ok, your not an American, so, I can understand your trying to bring down those who are. Have fun loser, you'll never be a REAL American. Lmfao.
Posted by: No Illegals | October 29, 2006 at 09:02 PM
No illegals
You idiot, I never said I support Loretta. I'm just not going to support an opportunistic political candidate that in his 2004 campaign didn't cite illegal immigrants as one of the top issues.
All of sudden, Tan a Republican and he's a co- minutemen.
I'm not a fool, instead you are for supporting this loser. I'll email you on election day when Loretta beats him by 17 % points.
As far as who is a American, my family has spilled enough blood fighting for your and Tan's right to "tell it like you believe it is".
But, why don't you be man enough to duplicate that letter and send it out?(Second challenge, but no balls)
You are not only a idiot but you have "no guts" to stand up for what you believe.
That's un-American! Real Americans don't say something and do nothing.
You may be a naturalized citizen but offer nothing to this country...go back to Vietnam, Tan.

Sorry last poster, I wrote Tan's campaign and asked them to re-send the letter days ago. There is NO problem reminding people of the law. You're on the losing end of the illegal immigration fight. The vast majority of AMERICANS want it ended. And, go ahead, email me when your Mechista HERO Loretta wins the election. I suspect that will happen when she runs for dog-catcher.

Yeah, the American patrol is all about fair and accurate reporting.
Just a bunch of kooks that have nothing going on in their life. It's not the illegals fault that these guys didn't get their high school diploma. But, yet they blame illegals because they they directly compete in the unskilled labor market.
