Audio & Video From Day 1 Of Trung V. Janet Recount Trial

Well, the first day of the Trung V. Janet recount trial came to an end today. Team Trung expects the whole she-bang to be wrapped up by the end of the day tomorrow.

In the meantime, I'm uploading video and audio from the trial. I didn't get the trusty Red County-cam into the courtroom until after the lunch break, so all I have from the morning segment is audio. Here is Mike Schroeder's portion of the Team Trung opening argument, followed by Mike Houston's portion (I'll post Janet attorney Phil Greer's later).

Plus, I'll skip ahead to the end and post Judge Michael Brenner's closing thoughts:

And here is Peggy Lowe's post on the first day over at Total Buzz.

What is this Trung vs. Trung???? I thought it was Nguyen vs. Nguyen!

Schroeder looked foolish making an argument like that. I hope Trung isn't paying him for this.

Jubal thanks for deleting my comment truth must hurt.

I deleted your comment because it broke the rules of the comments section -- namely, making personal attacks.

This is your first and last warning. You comment often and under many names, but just a single IP. Break the rules again, and you'll be banned.

Matt no Personnel attacks see below Mike said it.....

Janet Nguyen goes to court
Hearing tonight that the Janet Nguyen campaign may go to court tomorrow. They may seek at temporary restraining order to keep Registar of Voters Neal Kelley from certifying the election results. Watch for my web story to post soon over on ocregister.com

I talked to Dave Gilliard, Janet's campaign guy, and he said they may question the voting machines error rate and they want to see the provisional ballots that Kelley chose not to count.

Meanwhile, Trung Nguyen was up on the fifth floor of the Hall of Administration today, touring Lou Correa's old office. His lawyer, Mike Schroeder, said Janet may soon be looking a lot like Al Gore, in his words, "a sore loser."

Stay tuned.

Great -- but that was on Total Buzz, not here. Control yourself and abide by the rules or else.

Jubal again spinning agaisnt Janet Nguyen when will it stop. You don't yell at the people that talk crap or post crap. I.e. the trannies and Mark Leyes

Spinning - oh boy here we go again. Jubal is just posting court stuff that happened today. No need for personal attacks period. The attorneys are doing their jobs and if the shoe was on the other foot, Janets attorneys would be doing the same. IT'S 7 friggin votes people, hardly a voter mandate and hardly any reason for anyone to feel cocky about a "win" here.

Thank you Jubal for posting this for those of us who have businesses to run, I - we appreciate it very much!

Foul language...don't say you weren't warned.

Jubal- I don't think Flowerszzz meant "feel cocky" in the way you are thinking that would warrant your warning.

LOL -- I was referring to the comment by "Stop spinning."

I agree with Language Police. That term is commonly used to describe someone, or a group of people, who is perceived to be smug, arrogant, full of themselves, overly pleased with themselves, etc. It is not a "bad word". Please, do a Google search for "feeling cocky" and see what comes back.

Jubal,

Seems you were posting just before I did. I should have known you understood the meaning and were referring to someone else:):) Sorry.

You all will never know how I truly meant it....muahahahaha! :-b

And I knew Jubal was not talking 'bout me.

I recognize that laugh flowerszzz...and you are truly evil!;)

I've been in all day classes and feel like I am disconnected from the world!!! Has the Judge made a decision or will this go into day three???
