Recess!

Judge Michael Brenner just recessed for a few minutes following the testimony of Rebecca Mercuri. Trung attorney Steve Baric continued his examination of the witness -- which was interrupted by lunch -- and then Janet attorney Andrew Do and Deputy County Counsel Leon Page each took a turn trying to discredit her during their cross-examination. They were trying to make it seem as if she didn't know what she was talking about in the particulars of this case, but IMO didn't succeed.

After this current recess, we'll hear from the handwriting expert brought it in by the Trung team regarding the six ballots with what they claim to be identical handwriting -- indicating a single person cast all six ballots.
