Disney Signature Gatherers Speak!
Following are some interviews I conducted with Disney signature gatherers during the past several days [full disclosure: I'm a member of the consultant team for SunCal's project].
Here's a lovely couple I spoke with in front of the Albertsons at State College Blvd. and South Street:
Here's another fellow who was gathering signatures in front of a Stater Bros on Brookhurst in west Anaheim:
This gentleman was gathering signatures in front the Vons at Lincoln Avenue and Anaheim Boulevard. He's about the only one who never used the "low-income housing" scare tactic.
Matt-
The Tonight Show called and they want you to be the new man on the street and you can wear Howie Mandel's camera glasses.

Is Disney paying that couple with methamphetamines or money?

Matt,
That is one of the funniest things I've seen in a while. Nice Work!

Matt--those guys are absolutely abusive. There's one guy who was outside the Lincoln Vons who kept browbeating me when I told him I was for the development plan, demanding I answer questions about it and why. I was just trying to buy a duck to cook for Easter. (It was DELICIOUS, by the way.)
Then, on my way out, he asked me for my number.

Did you give it to him, or shine him on?

Hilariously enough, I actually do have some romantic standards, despite all evidence to teh contrary.

its true... there were prostitutes all up and down harbor blvd... but not so much any more... likewise with Beach Blvd...
its also true... that its a state law that a circulator must be a resident of the city... and... do your homework and you'll find people with big fat belly's eating fried chicken are working this petition who do not live in Anaheim... and you know what... they look like they need low income housing..... really... though.... Disney's got a point...when it comes to allowing the city to vote on zone changes in the resort area... and this whole "low income housing" is really bait for the public... its not about that... its about money and profit...
