Today's Irivine paper devotes its front page to three park stories: - Great Park Board today will lay out the balloon plan, Sale of city land would add $136 million to Great Park coffers., and Budget determines park’s progress for 2007-08.
On November 2, 1996 a great Chen Tai Chi Master died his name is Master Pan Wing Chow. On November 2, 2008 students and grand students from all over the world will be doing Chen Tai Chi in honor of this great man who left Mainland China and fled to Taiwan where he taught the old original form of Chen Tai Chi that this old form has since been lost in the Mainland, Students and Grand students from Taiwan, England, Scotland, Ecuador, Sweden, Russia, Ireland, Canada, and in the United States they will be in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Florida, Vagina, Washington, Massachusetts, Arizona, Texas, Chicago, Wisconsin, Indiana, Hawaii, Michigan, Washing D.C. Nevada, Oklahoma, Missouri, Louisiana, and in California. The person arranging this big project is James McNeil, Master Pan’s only American student who studied with him in Taiwan for 14 years he lives in Irvine California. The local California students will start at 8:00 am California time at the Heritage Park in Irvine in memoir of this great master.
