Is OC Home To World's Largest Laundromat?

You may not have known that Orange County -- home to famous landmark's such as Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Angel Stadium and the Orange County Performing Arts Center -- is also home to the self-proclaimed world's largest laundromat.

I stumbled upon it today, nestled deep in the heart of west Anaheim on the corner of Crescent Avenue and Lincoln Knott Avenue, proudly boasting a phalanx of "over 250 washers & dryers":

Laundromat

But is it really the World's Largest Laundromat?

A quick Google search turned up another lavanderia in Illinois also laying claim to that distinction. In fact, it's name is World's Largest Laundromat  -- and it's bristling with 300 "state-of-the-art and brand new"  (which seems a little redundant) washers and dryers, not to mention a bird sanctuary. Wow.

I don't know how much "over 250" OC's lavamatica gigante is terms of machines, but my gut tells me it's Berwyn, Illinois rival has it beat.

Still, it may well be the California's Largest Laundromat, and I have no doubt it is Orange County's Largest Laundromat. It is certainly the most immense and shinest lavanderia I've ever seen.

I am still of the opinion you must have too much time on your hands. Thank you for keeping us entertained.

Actually Crescent Avenue and Lincoln Avenue are parallel and do not intersect. I believe you meant to say the corner of Crescent Way and Lincoln Avenue.

Big whoop di do

Santa Ana has the worlds biggest pot holes and 27.4 square mile graffiti mural!

I hear that Disney is getting a ton of signatures standing outside the Worlds Largest Laundromat.

I hear they hired Jeff Flint to get Curt Pringle to include them in the resort district.

I heard that the Laundromat is Soooo Big that Jeff Flint had to get a seperate Earthlink contract to provide Wi-Fi in it.

The Laundromat is so big it can handle two loads of Leyes laundry.

I believe you meant to say the corner of Crescent Way and Lincoln Avenue..

What I meant to say was it's at the corner of Crescent and Knott. Thanks for catching that.

I thought Switzerland and Cayman Islands competed for the title of biggest launderer

oh wait, this post is about clothes
