Orange Juice: Moorlach On The Furniture Brouhaha

Art Pedroza posted this yesterday on Orange Juice. It's a narrative of the e-mail informative exchange between Supervisor John Moorlach and OJ bloggers Ron and Ann Winship and Pedroza regarding the LA Times redecorating article.

I encourage all our readers to take  the time to read it and perhaps put the matter in perspective. While the price of some of the items still strikes me as exorbitant, that may be more reflective of the county procurement  process than evidence that Supervisors John Moorlach, Pat Bates and Janet Nguyen have extravagant taste.

All they had to do was circumvnt the procurement rules and buy cheaper desks and flat screens...
