Sheriff Carona On Repealing Retroactive Pension Spike

Sheriff Carona posted this on his blog on Friday regarding Sup. Moorlach's proposal to rescind the retroactive portion of the 2001 pension spike given to AOCDS members. The Sheriff chooses his words carefully, expressing a desire to honor the 2001 agreement with the deputies union while not venturing an opinion on whether or not he thinks Moorlach's arguments are valid.
