Harald Martin/AUHSD Signatures Turned In
Claudio Gallegos over at Orange Juice reports that the signatures have been turned in to force a special election for the seat of late Anaheim Union High School District Trustee Denise Reinking-Mansfield:
The effort to overturn the appointment of Harald Martin reached a milestone today with the completion of the signature gathering. I arrived to speak with Amin David briefly on the final numbers and to discuss what comes next. The final count collected was 4,963 Signatures, more than double the number required to overturn the appointment and force a special election.
I guess I can stop the Harry and Mimi watch now.

Harald Martin deserves our thanks. We could not have gotten so well organized without his help. That organization will result in the recall of the three trustees who voted for his appointment. The people WILL have the last word.
