Eric Linder for CRP Associate Representative

After the Steel and Baric posts, I thought this conservative volunteer - Eric Linder - who has ties in both Riverside and Orange counties deserved a little attention before tomorrow's CRP Fall Convention.  Linder is running for CRP Associate Representative this weekend in Indian Wells against Kern County candidate Brianna Buoni.

Linder is currently on the executive board of the Young Republican Federation of California (YRFC), he's also the Vice Chair of the Riverside County YRs and a former officer of the Orange County YRs.

Last Wednesday, Linder held a fundraising event at Kelly's Cigar in Tustin and garnered several contributions from local clubs, candidates and individuals.  His platform in this race is increasing communication between local GOP clubs and the CRP leadership - advocating for party resources to be available to the local clubs.

Linder's candidacy already has the support of other Republican leaders like Assemblyman Van Tran, CRP Treasurer Keith Carlson, Costa Mesa Mayor Allan Mansoor, Westminster Councilman Kermit Marsh, Anaheim Councilman Harry Sidhu, Corona Councilman Jeff Miller, Dana Point Mayor Diane Harkey and the current CRP Associate Representative Shawn Fago.

His only opponent in this race that I'm aware of is Brianna Buoni, who already sent out a letter touting her conservative credentials with a "special message" from Congressman Kevin McCarthy.  It was followed by a robo-call from Buoni herself.  As a "Blue Badge" member, I cannot vote in this election, so i'm not sure why my name is on her targeted list.

I've known Eric for years and he is a real grassroots volunteer. Walking precincts and making phone calls like a champion, both in Riverside & Orange County. I'm sure he's helped in other counties too, I just speak for what I have seen first hand. Good luck this weekend Eric!

Eric Linder is a stand up guy. Although we are on the other side of the aisle I have found Eric to be a person of strong conviction in his principles and solid strength of character. I wish you all the best and Im sure you will come out on top Eric.

I am not familiar with Linder's opponent.

In my personal interaction with Eric Linder, I have always been left with a favorable impression and consider him to be a stand up guy as alluded to above in the previous comment.

What is a "Blue Badge" Member?
Also, I wish you luck Eric. You have put in a lot of work on this campaign for the position in the CRP and Im sure it will pay off.

"Blue Badge" are members of the CRP who can vote for regular positions like Chairman, Vice Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, etc...

"Red Badge" are associate members, who can only vote for their Associated Representative...

"Green Badge" are guests that can walk around and mingle with people, attend workshops, but cannot vote.
