Big Money Boost For CalCounts Initiative

Word is the CalCounts initiative will come into a big funding boost in its race to make the June ballot (the deadline for signatures is December 12, if I'm not mistaken).

CalCounts would change the way California's electoral votes are awarded. Currently, California uses the same winner-take-all system as 47 other states. CalCounts would switch us to a proportional system.
